❀—  HEADCANON.

So, I was reading up on samurai and found out that they actually carried two swords!!

Only samurai were allowed to carry katana, and they very rarely set down their weapon. The wakizashi was worn with the katana and this pair of swords was called a daisho. The two swords would have matching scabbards and fittings. 

My headcanon is that Hana’s and Hinata’s family names both of their swords— The wakizashi would be named after their parent, and the katana is named after what they want to name their child. That being said, let’s move on the fam’s headcanon sword names! Both end in —maru during Hinata’s and Hisame’s chats, so I’ll stick with that trend for the guy names. I’ll use —bari for the female names!♥

Hinata—

wakizashi: Hibimaru

katana: Hisamaru

Hana—

wakizashi: Hitobari

katana: Hirobari

Hisame—

wakizashi: Hinamaru

Hiro cannot cook most dishes, minus sweets, and is currently banned from the kitchen.

She is primarily left-handed and has her all weapons or staves (if she is a Shrine Maiden) fixed up with a left-handed grip.

Hiro is remarkably limber. Splits, flips, and a variety of weird and uncomfortable poses are a cinch for her, but she doesn’t find much use for it in practical terms.However, in her modern verse, she is able to utilize it in tandem with being small and lithe, as she’s on her school’s cheerleading squad!
